Congratulations on your new security system!

To ensure you maximize the value of your new ADT system, we’ve put together a simple post-installation guide. Completing these quick steps will help you get the most out of your system and ensure everything is aligned for if the unfortunate happens.

Use these drop-downs as your guide to create your myadt.com account, order accessories, register where may be required, and even get money back.

  • Go to myadt.com and select “No account? Register.” Choose “ADT Security” and enter the primary phone number on your account along with your verbal password. Once entered successfully, you will be taken to your My ADT Dashboard.

    Here you can manage billing, update emergency contacts and more.

  • If you haven’t registered at myadt.com select “No account? Register.” Choose “ADT Security” and enter the primary phone number on your account along with your verbal password. Once entered successfully, you will be taken to your My ADT Dashboard.

    From there, select Order on the left side of the screen, scroll down, and click “Yard Signs”. Once you click that option, the yard signs and/or decals will be sent to the address listed on your account completely free, with no shipping costs.

  • If you haven’t registered at myadt.com select “No account? Register.” Choose “ADT Security” and enter the primary phone number on your account along with your verbal password. Once entered successfully, you will be taken to your My ADT Dashboard.

    From there, select Account, then Account Documents, and click on “Alarm Monitoring Certificate”.

    Send this certificate to your homeowners insurance agent for possible discount(s).

  • If Mecklenburg county, click here to complete your alarm permit registration. It’s FREE but it’s imperative for YOU to complete. IF NOT Mecklenburg county then you may have to register with your specific county depending on if that jurisdiction requires one.

    Once you’ve registered, you’ll receive a permit number and expiration date.

    Please email both your permit number and expiration date to Permit@ADT.com so we can update our records and ensure seamless communication with local emergency dispatch when needed.
